Ted Bergman grew up in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles, sold his first TV comedy script, The Munsters, while still a senior at UCLA and claims that girls still continued to ignore him. A short time later he became the youngest staff writer for The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, earning an Emmy nomination which he claims he’s never lived up to. Bergman’s producing and writing credits range from The Hollywood Squares to All in the Family, Sanford and Son, What's Happening, Gimme a Break, The Garry Shandling Show and way too many unsold pilots like, Who Needs Friends?! and The al-Qaida Comedy Hour.   Ted and his wife Kathy, a mosaic artist, now live in Northern California, in the heart of the Napa Sonoma wine country with their Abyssinian cat, Cecil and their Jack Russell Terrier, Jake.     Ted Bergman’s current comedy projects are his website: dogsandcatsgohollywood.com and a YouTube Channel that is premiering his new web series, The Canine Cat News Network. Ted describes CCNN as funny, irreverent, anti-cute take on the news, seen through the eyes of it’s co-anchors, a freewheeling feline named, Ziggy and an tightly wound Terrier named, Jake.
