A number of the parishioners at Holy Apostles were involved in the film and music business before their conversions in the early 1990’s. They had won a number of Addy awards for their work in the advertising industry, as well as film festival awards for their work in music videos. In obedience to the Lord, they gave up their work in this field, in essence, laying their gifts on the altar.About ten years later God began to speak to them through internal revelation and prophetic confirmation. He told them that as they had laid their gifts on the altar and put them to death, that He had now resurrected them and wanted them to be used for Him. When they asked “What should we write about?”, He responded “Write about what you know.”With that word, they formed Stone Road Pictures and began to write the script for their first film, “The Sins of the Fathers”, which is based on their work and experiences in the Generational Healing ministry.
