Suicide is the tenth leading cause of death in the U.S. and the third leading cause of death among young people aged 15-24. Suicide is a major, preventable public health problem. According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, 90% of people who die by suicide have a diagnosable and treatable psychiatric disorder at the time of their death. It is our job as a society to come together in open dialogue to help erase the stigma of mental illness and suicide. "Over the past ten years, I began putting my experiences on paper. My story, my family story, slowly began to take shape in the form of a screenplay. The script, titled Extra Innings, revolves around a family evolving together while dealing with mental illness and tragedy." Albert Dabah
